Lakyn & Mark's Padre Island Beach Engagement Session I had a fun afternoon with Lakyn and Mark out on Padre Island back in February. We couldn't have asked for better weather when shooting their engagement photos. They initially wanted to shoot around Bob Hall Pier, but the plethora of people taking advantage of the first really great beach day caused us to walk a little farther down the beach where we got some "alone time" to shoot. Lakyn was a natural infront of the camera, and Mark wasn't too bad himself. We got some great shots (of course I'm a little biased) but I'll let you be the judge.

Lindsey & Stewart's Courtyard at Gaslight Square Wedding in Corpus Christi Lindsey and Stewart are one of my wedding couples that I have absolutely enjoyed working with - we started out with their engagement sessions down here in an abandoned barn, then I took a trip up to College Station to photograph Lindsey's bridals on A&M's Campus. Finally, I (along with the assistance of my sister) shot their wedding back in December at Corpus Christi's own Courtyard at Gaslight Square. We had plenty of fun that evening and I loved working with the two of them as well as their families. Lindsey even got a sneak peek of her groom-to-be prior to their wedding ceremony.

Jennifer & Aaron's Corpus Christi Engagement Session Jennifer and Aaron were wanting to shoot their engagements in two locations - on on the beaches of Padre Island and the other a little more urban in downtown Corpus Christi. So we started with their first session (and their two cute dogs) out at Bob Hall Pier on Padre Island. We shot under the pier, along the beach and then decided to bring the dogs out up in the dunes. We couldn't have asked for better weather. When it came for our session downtown, the weather wasn't exactly the best, so we went to a few locations that minimized the effect an overcast sky has on images. They styled their own clothing and did an excellent job choosing outfits that were appropriate (and perfect) for each session. I loved the results and even have a 16x20 print in my office awaiting for its location on my wall.

Purpura Family Session This family was down in Corpus Christi visiting over Labor Day weekend, and they were interested in having some photos taken of their little one. She was one of the best small children I have ever worked with, and had such a fun personality. She wasn't too sure of the grass at first, but it grew on her. Her little beach portrait session on in Port Aransas didn't last too long - we didn't want her fair skin to get burned to a crisp by the September noon-day sun.

I am a freelance photographer & designer with over ten years of experience with film and the constant need to refine my skills. I enjoy the challenges that photography presents--with numerous variables to contend with, each image truly is a puzzle.
I am always looking for my next project; whether you have a small family gathering you'd like to remember, a band who's looking for some promo shots, a venue that wants to portray its spaciousness to prospective clients, or a magazine looking for stock photos, I'm ready for your assignment.
