Children can be one of the easiest (and yet one of the hardest) subjects to photograph. I like to take a different approach when it comes to photographing children from the typical studio approach. I am fully capable to shooting in any environment, whether it be your home, a nearby park, the beach, or an open field. The easiest way to capture your child as you see them now is to let them be themselves. Children's portrait sessions are applicable for children between the ages of 3 and 18. I am available for a standard children's session, but I also love working with parents who have been inspired to have something more than just another session. I want to begin creating artwork that your child will cherish many years from now.

More Information

I primarily photograph children portraiture sessions in the Corpus Christi, Padre Island, Kingsville and Rockport areas, however I am available for travel (with additional travel fees.) I don't have a specific booking timeline, however, when you are considering having your child's portrait scheduled, it is best to inquire well in advance. You may be able to get an appointment scheduled the same week, however there is a limited number of session openings per month. I recommend that younger children be dressed in nice, but not restrictive clothing. Trying to get quality photos of a child fighting his clothing is nearly impossible. Getting beautiful shots of a child wearing comfortable clothing is very easy. I do not limit the number of "poses" or locations during a session, and I don't have a steadfast time limit, however, only 50 final images are included in the session price.

If you have a them, vision or concept in mind for your child's portrait, I recommend we meet before the session to discuss your ideas - and so I have an idea of what you're looking for. Tumblr, Pinterest & Flickr all are amazing sources of inspiration. I have a complete portable studio lighting setup and can bring it if required, however I love shooting little ones with the light the heavens provide.

During certain times of the year, my schedule does fill up quickly. Namely Halloween, Christmas and the end of the school year. During those times I try to add as many sessions as I can while keeping in mind all of the post-processing work to ensure that all images are promptly delivered.
