A newer trend in wedding photography has been the addition of boudoir packages to many wedding photographers' service lists. It has also created an entire clique of photographers who specialize in boudoir photography. Boudoir Photography should be a way to enhance a woman's beauty and should never be trashy or smutty. Women of any age can embrace their own beauty, and have their beauty documented for eternity. A Boudoir actually is reference to a lady's dressing room, and boudoir photography rightfully includes photographing in the same type of setting. In the past, boudoir photography suffered from bad connotations, but no longer should be feared. Just like all other photo sessions, a boudoir session is about you. Your comfort level is always respected, and friends are always welcome to come along. Locations vary depending on your preference. If your bedroom has appropriate space it can easily be turned into a photo studio, plus it gives your session a more intimate feel because the location is yours, and yours alone. Upscale hotels are another option when it comes to boudoir sessions, and typically provide plenty space and quality results. In the area, several bed & breakfasts are suitable for boudoir sessions. Why boudoir? Your soon to be husband will love receiving a little book made especially for him. You're in control of your session and can reveal as much or as little for him as you'd like. |

Boudoir sessions all include the most discretion of any of my sessions. You are allowed to pick how public your photos will be - from just access to you, and you alone to being featured in my blog / website (and everywhere in between.) I respect your choice. I always prefer to meet at least once before your session so we can talk about the look you're interested in achieving, and decide on the proper location. All of my boudoir preview galleries are password protected and remain that way (unlike wedding / engagement / bridal galleries which go public a few months after your wedding) and they're contained in a separate area so that viewers of your wedding photos won't see your boudoir gallery. Each session comes with 25 - 50 edited images including copies of those images on disc for your safe-keeping (and future-printing!) You'll also receive a custom designed 4x4 mini album of your session, which makes a perfect gift for your groom or husband.
