Editorial Photography | The Bend Magazine - Open House Dec 2022

I’ve been photographing homes for The Bend Magazine for several years now, and the homes curated by the editorial staff never ceases to amaze me. When the open house writer, Cecile Gottlich (Studio Cecile) was giving me details about this home, I was excited to see what Brittany Wendl-Aoshima (Britt Aoshima Designs) had designed throughout her home. Green is my favorite color, and after being a real estate photographer for 13 years and shooting over 7,000 listings so far, I can truly attest that green is a very underrepresented color throughout south Texas homes. When I saw the green kitchen cabinets as I walked in, I knew this was going to be an amazing interior to photograph.

Can we talk about how gorgeous that golden brass works throughout with the white hard surfaces and green cabinetry in the kitchen? The living room, while open to the kitchen and dining, remains perfectly designed as its own space with an amazing set of antique doors adjacent to the bedroom hallway. Also, you may or may not know that I have a wallpaper collection I’ve started, and the primary bathroom wallpaper is definitely being added. Below the photo gallery, I’ve linked the Bend Magazine article where you can read more about Britt, Masa, and their design.
