Headshot Photography | Corpus Christi Convention & Visitors Bureau

The Corpus Christi Convention & Visitors Bureau sought updated headshots of their staff back in 2019, aiming for a clean, professional look. To achieve this, I brought a neutral grey background and a selection of colored gels for my background flash to enable the team to choose a color that best suited their branding on the day of the shoot.

We conducted the photoshoot in a small conference room located in an old house in Heritage Park in downtown Corpus Christi. To keep things efficient and manageable, I opted for a single key light accompanied by reflectors for fill light. This approach minimized the amount of equipment I needed to bring into the space while still allowing for high-quality lighting.

Throughout the session, I encouraged the staff to engage naturally with the camera, capturing candid expressions that conveyed their professionalism and approachability and resulted in a diverse collection of headshots that truly represented the unique personalities within the Convention & Visitors Bureau.

This project not only provided the Bureau with updated images for their marketing materials but also reinforced their commitment to a welcoming and vibrant community. It was a rewarding experience to help showcase the faces behind the organization, allowing their passion and dedication to shine through in every shot.
