Winter Bollards in Port Aransas

One of the fun things about living along the coast (in Corpus Christi) is our proximity to the beach. While going out birding one day in search of a little gull that had been spotted near the Corpus Christi ship channel jetty in Port Aransas, my son and I took a drive down the beach in search of some other gulls and came across the winter bollards on the beach in Port Aransas. I had completely forgotten about the people who knit unique and interesting “sweaters” for some of the parking bollards and then decorate the beach with their festive attire. On this particular day we didn’t have anywhere else better to be, so I took some time to snap some of my favorite knittings that we saw along the beach.
