1229 Water St | Rockport Luxury Real Estate Photography
The Baumgardner group (brokered by COMPASS) reached out to me to showcase a new property they were co-listing along historic Water Street in Rockport, Texas on Aransas Bay. The new listing had quite the stats: over 6,000 sqft of living space with an additional detached 1,200 sqft garage/workshop, 5 ensuite bedrooms with an additional half-bath, a giant upstairs water-view balcony off of three bedrooms, an equally impressive covered downstairs patio with outdoor kitchen, a 1,200 foot long pier extending into Aransas Bay, ample ‘green space’ in the backyard, as well as a large secured parking area.
The listing agents wanted this property to stand out among the other Texas coastal luxury real estate options (along with the $3.45mm price tag.) We decided on enhanced photography throughout the entire home, twilight photos (primarily of the water side of the home), drone photos & video, and a property film that should encompass the grandeur of the house nestled on a historic waterfront street in a quiet Texas coastal town.

In everything that I do involving real estate photography, I think the most challenging service I provide would be these property films. Each house has an entirely different story to tell, and sometimes the story that the house and footage tells differs from what the sellers or agents might want to tell. In this case, I had wide latitude in conveying the story this house wanted to tell. “I’m a house with space. Space for everyone. Space for families, friends, entertaining, and relaxation.” As always, my drone pilots do an amazing job getting the shots that I need - I couldn’t do what I do without Knightstorm Productions getting me those views from the air.
With the exception of the aerial clips, I shot this on my usual real estate video setup - BMPCC4K, Ronin S, and Olympus 7-14/2.8 lens.
